Welcome to 1st grade!
My name is Ms. Harris, and I can't wait to get started!
I would like to share with you a little bit about myself. I have lived here in Wichita my whole life. I went to Heights High School, where I graduated in 2005. I then went to Butler Community College, then Wichita State University to finish my degree in Elementary Education. 
A few of my favorite things:
~ I love kids! I am so excited to be your teacher this year, and can't wait to meet each and every one of you!~ I love to be outdoors! I spend a lot of time on my parents farm in Southern Kansas. I also like to go camping, garden, and take care of my yard.
~I love to be creative! Organizing, painting, drawing, decorating...it's all fun!
Have you ever mixed to colors together and found out it makes a whole new color?
These are what we call primary and secondary colors.
When you mix to primary colors together, it makes a secondary color.

Primary colors: Red, Blue and Yellow
Secondary colors: Orange,Green and Violet
~I love my family! I have the most amazing, loving, and supportive family. I spend as much time with them as possible. Below is a picture of my niece and nephew.

This is a picture of my family right after a water balloon fight at the farm!
